FGP Launches Luxurious Leisure Facilities at “The Hills” Project in Abu Dhabi

Facilities include play areas for children, sports facilities for beach volleyball and tennis, walkways, desert landscaping and more

Abu Dhabi, May 12, 2012: In line with the successful establishment of "The Hills" villas in Abu Dhabi; First Gulf Properties (FGP), real estate service provider, and property manager of "The Hills" in Abu Dhabi, announced that it has finalized luxurious leisure facilities for the project. The facilities encompass a total area of about 60,000 square meters.

FGP provides shared spaces for occupants, which highlights its strong belief in strengthening family bonds and creating the perfect environment for families to pursue leisure activities at their convenience.

The new facilities offer safe play areas for children amidst green and beautifully landscaped desert scenes including climbing frames, swings and a slide. A large share of the facilities has been allocated to sporting activities, which include two tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, a sandy football pitch, walkways and a sandy beach that extends for 300 meters. .

All this stems from FGP's commitment to developing the project according to highest specifications and standards.

Taking in consideration the Islamic tradition and the Emirati heritage, a mosque has also been built according to Islamic art and architecture.

"The Hills" offer a unique and luxurious experience on Abu Dhabi's splendid sandy beaches, which can be shared with family members and friends. Living at "The Hills" combines elegance, luxury and a relaxing atmosphere for families.

First Gulf Properties Invites Occupants of Over 13,000 Residential and Commercial Units to Participate in Earth Hour 2012

Initiative in support of efforts to conserve energy and natural resources, and to protect the environment.

Abu Dhabi, March 28, 2012: In line with global efforts to conserve energy and to preserve precious resources, First Gulf Properties (FGP), real estate service provider specializing in end-to-end property solutions, announced that it will be participating in Earth Hour 2012 in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Municipality, the official coordinator of Earth Hour 2012 for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi., reflecting its commitment to the UAE community.

FGP distributed circulars to encourage tenants as well as the staff to join millions around the world in switching off lights, computer screens and all other office electrical utilisations in observance of Earth Hour. FGP also invited occupants of over 13,000 residential and commercial units to partake in the initiative, which will take place from 8.30- 9.30 pm on Saturday March 31st, 2012. They were also encouraged toparticipate in the Municipality's event on the Corniche.

Commenting on the event, Jasim Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer of First Gulf Properties said; "We believe that Earth Hour is an important initiative that provides a practical road map for how we can actively contribute towards preserving our planet. By simultaneously switching off our lights, we all cooperate towards saving energy, and reiterate that small actions can have a great impact towards the well-being of our planet."

FGP's participation in one of the largest environmental initiatives on the planet comes as part of their commitment to spread awareness on global warming and climate change, and to achieve sustainable development for the UAE.

Earth Hour is a globally celebrated event organized by Emirates Wildlife Society in cooperation with the World Wide Fund for Nature EWS-WWF. This year, hundreds of millions of people in more than 135 countries worldwide will unite together to support this global initiative.

Municipality of Abu Dhabi City inks coop pact with First Gulf Properties

The Agreement is part of the implementation of Tawtheeq System for Registration of Properties and Tenancy Contracts.

Abu Dhabi 26 September 2011: As part of its continuous endeavours to foster the optimal implementation of Tawtheeq project, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the First Gulf Properties; a subsidiary of the First Gulf Bank considered one of the leading companies specialized in providing integrated property services and solutions in the UAE. This co-operation agreement is intended to work out an effective mechanism enabling both parties to achieve the objectives of the project, which include the registering all leasable properties and standardizing tenancy contracts templates in accordance with Tawtheeq e-system in order to safeguard the rights of all parties involved in the tenancy process, and contribute to the development of the real estate market.

The move comes in implementation of the Decision of the Chairman of the Executive Council No. (4) for 2011 regarding the rules and procedures of registering tenancy contracts in the Emirate, which underscores the importance of coordination between all concerned entities as regards the implementation of the provisions of the Decision and the need to establish a link with the tenancy contracts e-registration system. It also reflects the keenness of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City to build an integrated and effective relationship between government and private sectors to provide highly efficient services to customers through the electronic link within the respective work scope of each party and in conformity with the laws and regulations applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Owaidah Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of Municipal Services Sector at the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City stated that the co-operation agreement between the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City and First Gulf Properties aimed to use Tawtheeq e-system for registration of tenancy contracts as per the terms of use set by the Municipality, adding that the project won the satisfaction of all concerned parties at the First Gulf Properties, which is attributed to the fact that the way the project evolved & presented was marked by clarity and simplicity.

As to training on the use of Tawtheeq system, the Municipality is offering courses to train the concerned staff at the First Gulf Properties on how to handle the system along with a detailed elaboration of the procedures and mechanisms of the project enabling them to run the system smoothly.

Jasim Al Ali, Chief Executive of the First Gulf Properties said, "We are excited to sign this agreement with the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City as it echoes the strategy of the First Gulf Properties that hinges on promoting cooperation with various government institutions and entities with a view to modernizing and upgrading the real estate market in the country. Joining Tawtheeq System reflects the First Gulf Properties' standing commitment to render top quality real estate services & solutions to customers as this Project is viewed as one of the most important steps to streamline and develop the real estate market in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi," added Al Ali.

Ali Al Hashimi, Manager of Tawtheeq Project at the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, was upbeat and delighted with that effective step which was a strong indicator of the positive interaction between the public and private sectors and would pave the way for realizing the objectives of the project. He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation with property management companies, being a key partner in the success and effective and optimal management of the project in a way that would enable them avail the benefits of the system, including the provision of the required tools using state-of-the-art technologies assisting optimal management of their own properties at no cost; a step which would also develop and streamline the real estate market.

"Pursuant to this agreement, the two parties will cooperate under the general framework of their respective responsibilities and administrative & procedural principles to work out detailed & specific programs & work plans to achieve the desired results, and define the respective roles, responsibilities and processes adopted by each party to realize the goals of the project. It also allows for discussing initiatives and programs made by either party to achieve the best possible results to facilitate the entry and registration of property details in the system. Under this agreement, both parties will collaborate in taking appropriate actions, coordinating efforts and establishing points of contact by setting up a joint work team to enhance the running of Tawtheeq e-system under the ultimate aim of improving customers service experience within the two parties," concluded Al Hashimi.
